新的头孢菌素不断发现,但它们的抗菌活力各具特点。第三代头孢菌素对G~-杆菌的抗菌活力比第一、二代头孢菌素有所增强,但对G~+球菌的抗菌活力减弱,故在临床选用时,不能代替第一、二代头孢菌素。细菌对这些新的头孢菌素也易产生耐药性,因而限止了它们的应用,可备作为治疗肠道G~-杆菌性脑膜炎或其他耐多种抗生素细菌的严重感染之用。切勿作预防感染之用。
