洋务运动是近代地主阶级发动的一场自救运动,其自强求富的举措客观上促进了中国近代民族资本主义的发展,但由于其根本目的是要维护清王朝的统治,因而史学界中关于洋务运动的历史作用至今还没有定论,众说纷纭,褒贬不一。本文结合笔者多年的教学实践,试图从新的角度去看待洋务运动,洋务运动由于其阶级局限性及时代限制确有其固有的弊端,但在当时的条件下,这场旨在拯救地主阶级自己的运动却阴差阳错地开启了中国近代化的步伐,并促进了中国民族资本主义的产生。
The Westernization Movement, a self-help movement initiated by the modern landlord class, has objectively promoted the development of Chinese national capitalism in modern times. However, its fundamental purpose is to safeguard the rule of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, The historical role of the movement is still inconclusive, divergent views, mixed. Based on the author’s years of teaching practice, trying to look at the Westernization Movement from a new perspective, the Westernization Movement has its own inherent disadvantages due to its class limitations and the time constraints. However, under the conditions of that time, the Westernization Movement aimed at saving the landlord class itself The movement was overwhelmingly opening up the pace of China’s modernization and promoting the emergence of Chinese national capitalism.
