亲爱的读者,您知道这期杂志封面上这位中年妇女是谁吗?她是我们中华民族航海史上的第一个女航海家,是我国远洋海轮上迄今为止唯一的一位女船长。她的名字叫孔庆芬。 那是一九七六年九月。孔庆芬驾驶着我国万吨级货轮“风涛”号首航日本。第一个目的港:横滨。 “风涛”轮鼓浪向前,即将进入东京湾的浦贺水道。这里航道复杂,来往船只多,大凡第一次通过浦贺水道的船长,无不申请雇用日本引水员。因此,一封封电报飞上“风涛”:“你船是否需派引水?”孔庆芬命令电报员一一回答:“谢谢,不用。”“风涛”轮稳稳当当地通过了浦贺水道。
