政报创刊于一九四九年十月三十一日,我们在上级的正确领导和各方的爱护帮助下,按照省府「关于出版福建政报的通令」及「政报刊行办法」所规定的方针任务,到现在已出版十六期,(第一卷——一九四九年十至十二月三期。第二卷——一九五○年一至十二月十二期;另增刊一期。)共印行四三四○○册,刊出文件九八九篇,综计二九六万多字。政报是省人民政府定期出版的综合性公报性的刊物,其主要作用为传达政策法令,指导工作,交流经验,供给本省各级政权机关贯澈政令推动工作的依据,和各级干部政策业务学习的资料。这一年来的工作,总的说是在主观力量薄弱和客观困难很多的情况下进行的;当省会福州刚刚解放,政府刚刚成立,我们就接受了发刊的任务,筹备时间很短,业务内容复杂,特别是人手少,经验缺乏,组织和制度又不够健全,一切都在摸索中,因此工作呈现着许多零乱曲折的现象,直到今年五月整编完成,才逐渐建立起此较正规的工作方法;从刊物的发展过程和实际表现来看,虽仍有不少缺点,但不可否认是在逐期进步中的,这些进步与成绩,是我们工作发展的主要方面。
