玉米纹枯病俗名花脚杆,是玉米的主要病害。近几年,该病在广安发病早、面积不断扩大,危害程度日益上升,损失逐年加重。玉米受纹枯病危害后,叶片的光合作用受到严重影响,子粒不饱满,千粒重下降,以致造成霉苞,重病田块减产可达30%以上,严重影响玉米产量。玉米纹枯病是真菌病害,菌核在土壤中越冬,成为次年发病的初次侵染
