1996年12月的北京,已洋溢着文艺春天的融融暖意。3000多名文学家、艺术家满怀豪情、精神振奋,从祖国各地汇聚首都,参加中国文学艺术界联合会第六次全国代表大会、中国作家协会第五次全国代表大会。 这次文代会和作代会,是在以江泽民同志为核心的党中央的亲切关怀和领导下召开的,是一次承前启后、继往开来、迎接新世纪的盛会。 中国文学艺术界联合会第六次全国代表大会由全国30个省、自治区、直辖市文联和12个全国性文艺家协会、解放军、产业部委文联以及中央有关单位共推举代表1350人。因病因事请假41人,实到代表1309人。
In December 1996, Beijing was filled with the warmth of literary spring. More than 3,000 writers and artists are full of pride and spirit, bringing together the capital from all over the motherland, attending the Sixth National Congress of the Federation of Chinese Literary and Art Circles and the Fifth National Congress of the Chinese Writers Association. This session of the Chinese People’s Congress and the National Assembly is convened under the cordial care and leadership of the party Central Committee with Comrade Jiang Zemin at the core. It is a grand event that will bring forth past and future as well as the past and the future to meet the new century. The 6th National Congress of the Federation of Chinese Literary and Art Circles was promoted by 1350 people from 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and 12 national associations of literary and art circles, the People’s Liberation Army and the industrial and cultural commissar, as well as relevant central departments. 41 due to sick leave, it actually represented 1309 people.
