1992年11月18日,还是一片广袤田野的苏州新区,被批准为国家高新技术产业开发区。5年弹指一挥间,苏州新区取得了闪光的业绩。前不久,北京、苏州、合肥、西安等4家国家高新技术产业开发区从全国53个同类开发区中脱颖而出,入选首批中国亚太经济合作组织科技工业园区。值得一提的是,这4个科技工业园区,其所在地不是首都、省会的只有苏州新区一家。人们惊呼:“小苏州”做成了大文章。
November 18, 1992, is still a vast field of Suzhou New District, was approved as the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. 5 years fingertips, Suzhou New District made a flash of performance.
