近几年来,我们对水杉这一优良树种,进行了引种和扦插繁育试验,曾用16年生大树上采集的1~2年枝条,进行扦插试验,连续三年均归失败。后用6年生幼树上采集当年生枝条作插穗,成活率也很低,唯有用一年生扦插苗干作插穗,成活率有所提高,但仍不很理想。七三年冬我们在总结失败教训的基础上,进一步分析研究了水杉扦插育苗不易成活的主要原因是萌芽早而生根迟,假活期长,使插穗在生根前消耗了大量的水分、养分而枯死。为了使水杉插穗早些生根,缩短假活期,提高扦插成活率,采用马粪、湿沙窖藏处理插穗的办法,收到较好的效果。(见下表)
In recent years, we have carried out the introduction and cutting propagation test on the fine tree species of Metasequoia. We have used 1-2 years of branches collected from 16-year-old trees for cutting experiments and failed for three consecutive years. After 6 year-old seedlings were collected on the annual branches for cuttings, the survival rate is also very low, only the annual cuttings for cutting, the survival rate has improved, but still not very satisfactory. On the basis of summing up the lessons of failure in the seventy-three years, we further analyzed and studied the reasons why the cutting propagation of Metasequoia cuttings was not easy to survive because of early germination and late rooting, long false life, . In order to root early to cuttings of Metasequoia, to shorten the fake period and improve the survival rate of cuttings, the use of horse manure, wet sand cellar processing cuttings approach, received good results.
