发达的高速公路交通网目前,全世界已有80多个国家和地区拥有高速公路,通车总里程超过了23万km。德国高速公路的总里程在世界上排名第四,拥有1.1万多km。在德国的高速公路中,有30多条欧洲高速公路在境内延伸,其中有17条通向周边的9个国家,每一个周边国家都至少有一二条高速公路与德国相通。西欧各国之间相连的高速公路没有边检,可以自由通行,不需要办任何手续。只有瑞士有边检,旅游大巴进入瑞士时,只需导游拿着证件,前后不到10min,就能办好入境手续。
