该程序将正电子寿命谱看作是一至多个指数衰减函数与仪器分辨函数的卷积,使用最小二乘法进行拟合,从而可将寿命谱分解成一或多个寿命成份,并得到各成份的寿命值τ_1,和相对强度I_j,以及正电子湮没的平均寿命τ_(mean)。与POSITRONFIT程序相比,它们的拟合结果是一致的,拟合方差可达到1~3左右。该程序在微处理机上就可运行,且计算结果与初值的选择无关,使用方便。
