四川省彭州市丹景山镇,古称九陇,自唐朝以来,广种牡丹至今,因此丹景山又称牡丹之乡。南宋大诗人陆游在《天彭牡丹谱》中有“牡丹在中州,洛阳为第一;在蜀,天彭为第一”的赞誉。天彭牡丹以其株高叶茂、花大颈长、滋润丰腴、艳丽多姿著称天下,尤以悬崖断壁皆生之野趣享誉中外。花开时节,满山遍野的牡丹令人陶醉,犹如进入了花的海洋。每年四月举办天彭牡丹花会,游人如潮,现彭州已成为中国西部最大的牡丹观赏中心,成为与“洛阳、菏泽”齐名的三大牡丹基地之一。
