The W_(256) tumor strain was established in 1928 by Walker’s Columbia University. It belongs to a kind of carcinosarcoma, which is divided into two types: solid type and ascites type, which can transform each other. Inoculation is not limited to rodents, but the Wistar line is preferred. Introduced into our country in 1958.
