科技英语阅读是一门实用性课程,为高校学生、特别是理工科学生开设的科技英语阅读课旨在提高学生的英语实际运用能力。该课程重要但教学实施难度大,效果不明显。其出路在于改进教学方法,创新教学模式。基于此,探讨在高校科技英语阅读教学中将以TALO为基础的和以TAVI为基础的阅读教学模式相结合,发挥第二课堂的作用是经实践证明的一种行之有效的创新教学模式。
Science and Technology English Reading is a practical course for science and technology students in colleges and universities, especially science and technology students reading English designed to improve students’ practical ability to use English. The course is important but the implementation of teaching difficult, the effect is not obvious. The way to go is to improve teaching methods and innovate teaching modes. Based on this, it is discussed that the combination of TALO-based and TAVI-based reading teaching mode in college English reading teaching of science and technology and the role played by the second classroom are proved to be an effective innovative teaching mode.
