中国共产党的优秀党员,云南省延安精神研究会会长薛波同志因病医治无效,于10月24日在昆明逝世,享年87岁。薛波同志1934年参加革命,1937年入党,曾任中共云南省委组织部副部长、云南日报总编辑、中共云南省委宣传部副部长。1981年离休后,牵头筹建了云南省延安精神研究会,担任会长至今,为研究、弘扬延安精神做出了贡献。
Comrade Xuebo, an outstanding party member of the Communist Party of China and president of Yan’an Spirit Research Society of Yunnan Province, died of illness in Kunming on October 24, at the age of 87. Comrade Xuebo joined the revolution in 1934 and joined the party in 1937. He was the deputy minister of Organization Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, editor-in-chief of Yunnan Daily and vice minister of Propaganda Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee. After retiring in 1981, he took the lead in establishing the Yan’an Spirit Research Association of Yunnan Province and served as president so far, contributing to the study and promotion of Yan’an Spirit.
