一、资源特点长沙市历史悠久,从公元前221年秦始皇在此设置长沙郡至今已有2000佘年的历史。是湖南省的政治、经济、文化中心。辖四县一郊,境内丘陵起伏,江河纵横,湖泊遍布,形成了江湖冲积菜土,河流阶地堆积菜土和丘陵坡地菜土三种地貌的菜地;土壤有冲积沙壤、红壤和城市煤灰土三类;气候四季分明,春季寒潮频繁,夏季炎热多旱,秋季时多绵雨,严冬常有冻害。蔬菜品种经自然选择和人工选择,逐渐形成了适应我市自然条件和社会经济要求的丰富的蔬菜品种资源。
