鲁迅不仅是具有原创性的作家、文学史家和文学理论家,而且也是伟大的翻译家。相对于他在文学创作和研究领域取得的卓越成就,他的文学翻译似乎留下了太多遗憾,成为其文学事业的“软肋”。尤其他所坚持的近乎“硬译”的“直译”笔法,历来为人诟病,即使那些想为鲁迅辩护的人,也常常难以自圆其说;而那些指责鲁迅翻译的人,总是显得理直气壮,信心十足。
Lu Xun is not only an original writer, literary historian and literary theorist, but also a great translator. His literary translation seems to have left too much regret for his remarkable accomplishments in literary creation and research, becoming his “soft underbelly” of his literary career. In particular, what he insisted on has almost always been criticized for his “hard translation ” “Literal Translation ” style of writing. Even those who want to defend Lu Xun often find it hard to justify themselves. Those who accuse Lu Xun of translating always appear righteous, Confident.
