November 2, 2001, the weather is fine. With a happy mood, I came to the Embassy of Latvia smoothly. Guided by the guards, I saw the empty door. I knew that the ambassador and his wife were waiting for me because I told them just a minute and a half before arriving. When I knocked on the door and the ambassador’s Chinese secretary, Ms. Red welcomed me into the room. She told me that in order to welcome me, Ambassador specially prepared for me a delicate PARTY, of which the drinks, fruit and snacks are my favorites, because the ambassador has been dispatched to inquire about my preferences.
