由于历史和现实的原因,中国法制史内容在中学历史教学中严重缺失。课标制定者的法治理念和法律意识要跟上时代发展的步伐和社会发展的需要。对中国法制史的系统学习和正确认识是第一步,但考察现状却不容乐观,原因是学习的内容不够客观。高中历史必修Ⅰ的片面介绍使得学生对历史有了不全面的认识,古代中国只有专制和中央集权,而古希腊的民主政治和古罗马的法律制度却相当完善,两个极端的内容学习使中国与古希腊、古罗马形成鲜明的反差和对比。
