The purpose of this survey is to study and identify occupational cancer risks (excluding occupational bladder cancers) that affect the health of rubber workers. The study used a method of calculating occupational cancer latency, which stipulated a 10-year latency interval for each subject to survive before they were included in the statistical analysis. The industrial population studied started with 36,695 men, consisting of male workers who entered the 13 major factories from 1946 to 1960, requiring them to work continuously in the rubber industry for at least one year.
