2016年3月18日,中国国家原子能机构与美国能源部在北京共同建设的核安保示范中心投入运行,这是亚太地区乃至全球规模最大、设备最全、设施最先进的核安保交流与培训中心。2010年首届核安全峰会期间,中美两国元首达成共识,决定在中国共同建设核安保示范中心。中方提供场址设施并负责该中心的管理与运行,美方提供核材料分析、核安保设备测试、响应力量训练及演练
On March 18, 2016, the nuclear safety demonstration center jointly set up by the Chinese Atomic Energy Authority and the U.S. Department of Energy in Beijing was put into operation. It is the largest, most equipped and advanced nuclear security exchange and training center in the Asia Pacific region and even in the world . During the first nuclear safety summit in 2010, the heads of states of the two countries reached a consensus and decided to jointly build a nuclear security demonstration center in China. China provided the site facilities and was responsible for the management and operation of the center. The United States provided nuclear material analysis, nuclear security equipment testing, response strength training and exercises
