邓小平接见:大会堂里说“不变”进入八十年代,15种36册“金庸武侠小说全集”修订工作已历时十载,将近完成。从此,金庸宣布其武侠小说“封笔”,把主要精力转向社会工作。就在这时,北京向他发出信息:邀请金庸先生到内地访问。而金庸也不失时机,提出“想见邓小平”。金庸先生说,几十年啦,他最想见的就是邓小平。“我一直很钦佩他的风骨。这样刚强不屈的性格,真像是我武侠小说中描写的英雄人物。”
