英语教学是高职学校一门重要的公共必修课,高职的学校教的是国际流通的语言和很多学科共同使用的语言,对学生课程学习和综合素质以及英语应用有着巨大的作用。现在高职学校的英语教学中存在着很多的问题。本文对高职英语教学的特点和原则进行分析,英语教学中存在着学生学习目的不强、学生基础差、老师教学单一等问题进行问题对策分析,来提高高职英语教学质量。在老师和学生共同努力下,来实现高职院校英语教学培养高素质的应用型人才的目标。
English teaching is an important public compulsory course in higher vocational schools. Higher vocational schools teach the language of international circulation and the language used by many disciplines. It plays an important role in students’ curriculum learning, overall quality and English application. Now there are many problems in the English teaching in higher vocational schools. This article analyzes the characteristics and principles of English teaching in higher vocational colleges. There are some problems and countermeasures in the teaching of English such as the students ’learning purpose is not strong, the students’ foundation is poor, and the teaching of teachers is single, so as to improve the quality of English teaching in higher vocational schools. Under the joint efforts of teachers and students, the goal of cultivating high-quality applied talents in English teaching in higher vocational colleges is realized.
