Introduction H_ (11) mode in circular waveguide can form circularly polarized wave by loading circular waveguide phase shifter. It is very difficult to calculate such problems in theory, and calculating the phase shift of loaded square waveguides is a feasible method. So, it is natural for us to think that if we can transform the loading circular waveguide conformal into the loading square wave guide, the problem will be simplified. In this paper, an approximate phase shift calculation method of circularly loaded circular waveguide is introduced through conformal mapping. The theoretical calculation and the measured results are in good agreement with the error less than 1.3 °.
