我矿目前是待开采的大型深凹露天铁矿。矿体规模大、开采条件尚好,曾几次经国内设计与近期的国外设计。在国外的设计中,应用了组合台阶(或陡帮)采剥法。它与国内设计采用的单个台阶(或缓帮)采剥法相比,已显示出具有能均衡生产剥采比,降低前期剥离高峰,减少基建剥岩量,提高矿山生产能力,有利边坡稳定以及排水等优点。本文就我矿的具体设计情况,对组合台阶法的优点与有关参数的确定加以探讨。
