谢晋的新作《最后的贵族》,我看了两遍。也许这是艺术鉴赏的一个规律吧,它象所有的文艺精品一样,在看第二遍时往往比第一遍更有味道、更有嚼头,更能品尝出其中深邃的意蕴和醇厚的韵味。的确,这是一部又一次显示谢晋的执着追求,很经得起艺术分析的电影佳作。电影从总体来说,不可否认,是一种叙事艺术。但是出色的电影导演,在每一个镜头的运用上,绝不会单纯地去用来叙事,而是力求能传达出一种情绪,或一种可感觉的信息给予观众;而叙事的结果,应该尽量由观众自己最后去完成。这样才能使作品隽永、含蓄,更富有艺术魅力。《最后的贵族》在艺术上是达到了这个要求的。影片写了李彤、黄慧芬、雷芷苓、张嘉行等四个贵族小姐在中华大地面临改朝换代最严峻的历史时刻,远渡重洋,赴美留学后各自的遭遇和在灵魂上逐渐失落的过程。
