In order to study the impact of global warming on temperate forest ecosystems, 1553 annual ring samples from 13 different tree species from 1982 to 1991 were collected from Changbai Mountain and analyzed according to relevant meteorological data. The results show that it is difficult to find a one-to-one correspondence between the change of annual width and the interannual change of temperature index. However, compared with 1982-1986, the average annual temperature in 1987-1991 increased by 0.48 ℃, and the average annual ring width increased by 6.1%. Correspondingly, the corresponding annual ring width is increased by 50% when the temperature is increased by 1 ℃ corresponding to the elevation of 176m. According to this calculation, the increase of annual temperature by 1 ℃ will increase the volume growth of broad-leaved Korean pine forests by 0.6-3.1m3ha-1 · yr-1. The accelerated growth of annual rings may be mainly related to warming at night. Given that broadleaf trees are more sensitive to warming, warming may also increase the proportion of broad-leaved trees in Korean pine forests.
