我在确山县供销社工作,只要遇到人民群众关心的问题,我就注意写稿。比如,去年春季有一天,我在街上听到一位农民和一个卖灭鼠药的商贩说:“我专意跑了几十里,到城里来买灭鼠药,可哪里也找不到报上登的灭鼠快又不害家禽的药,真扫兴!”我挨个了解售灭鼠药的摊贩和店铺,证实了那位农民的话。当天晚上,我就写了一篇《确山县农民急需新型灭鼠药》的稿子,很快被新闻单位采用。去年,国务院对供销社经营的小化肥价格做了调整,由于一些地方的财政部门没有对供销社降价处理造成的经济损失予以兑贴,挫伤了基层供销社采购化肥的积极性。我将去年麦播时全县化肥缺口数量统计一下,又到地区供销社、县农委、化肥厂和有关乡村查明了原因,便赶写了《豫南今秋化肥需求偏紧》的

Last year, when I broadcast the countdown of the county’s chemical fertilizers, I went to the local supply and marketing cooperatives, county councils, fertilizer factories and relevant villages to find out the reasons.
