农垦58号自1963年开始在我场种植以来,年年表现良好。1964年全场种植81.7亩,占晚稻面积的37％,平均亩产达724.9斤,产量居第一位,比浙稻3号增产16.5％,比老来红增产26.3％,比广场矮增产11.4％。1965年全场种植农垦58号168.5亩,占晚稻面积的77％,平均亩产805斤,比1964年增产11％。同时出现了不少高额丰产田,其中亩产900斤以上的有48.48
Nongken 58 has performed well year after year since its planting in our farm in 1963. In 1964, a total area of 81.7 mu was planted, accounting for 37% of the area of late rice.
