诗歌翻译中对原诗形式如何处理一直是理论界争论的焦点。“神似派”与“形似派”之争最终谁也说服不了谁。这是因为诗歌翻译作为一门艺术本就应该流派纷呈。这里没有简单的对与错,只跟译者与读者的趣味有关。检验的标准仍然只能是实践。故本文不作玄奥的理论之争,只想以较有代表性的外国诗种——十四行诗的翻译为例,具体地通过对一些名家名译的考察,比较他们在这一问题上做法的异同、利弊,看哪些值得仿效,哪些应予摒弃,同时结合笔者本人的翻译实践谈点学习心得。
