全国教育工作会议以来,关心和研究高等职业教育的部门和学者越来越多。沈阳市自1987年起在职工大学试办了第一个高等职业教育班。7年来,我市的高职教育有了很大的发展,现有20多个教学班,学员近千人。下面结合近年来的办学实践,谈谈我们对发展高等职业教育的认识。 一、关于高等职业教育的性质 高等职业教育具有高等教育和职业教育的双重性,是职业教育的高层次。 第一,高职教育是以高中文化基础为前提条件的,接受这种教育的人,必须具有高中文化水平,才能很好地系统学习必要的理论和自觉地接受高层次的技能训练。如沈阳机械工业职工大学试办的数控机床班,开设了高等数学、电路、程序设计等十余门课程,进行了大量的实践教学,这些都要求学员有高中文化为基础,才能完成学业。由此可见,高等职业
