枣园又叫延园,在延安城西北市郊的枣园村。抗战时期,这里远离延安城,十分僻静。因此,中共中央书记处在1943年10月从杨家岭迁到这里,办公至1947年3月,以避日本空袭。枣园是一个很大的园子,原来是陕北军阀高双成的私人花园,中共中央迁到延安后,就成为中央社会部的驻地,后来又成为中共中央书记处所在地。园子大门两侧石柱上的“延园”二字,为当时中央社会部部长康生所写。
Jujube Garden, also known as Yan Park, in the suburbs of Yan’an City, the western suburbs of Zaoyuan village. During the war of resistance against Japan, far away from Yan’an City, very secluded. Therefore, the CPC Central Committee Secretariat moved from Yang Jialing here in October 1943 to work until March 1947 to avoid the Japanese air strikes. Zaoyuan is a large garden originally turned into a private garden of high Shuangcheng, a warlord in northern Shaanxi. After its relocation to Yan’an, the CPC Central Committee became the resident of the Central Social Department and later became the seat of the CPC Central Committee’s secretariat. On the stone pillars on both sides of the garden gate, the word “Yan Yuen” was written by Kang Sheng, then minister of the Central Social Ministry.
