随着九七香港回归,目前香港各大专院校采取不同措施,提高学生的语文水平,其中香港城市大学、浸会大学、香港科技大学、香港理工大学均规定,在高级程度补充会考中,中国语文或英国语文成绩欠佳的学士学位一年级学生,必须修读语文课程。但在评核学生语文成绩的措施中,目前只有香港理工大学和岭南学院决定将推行语文离校测试。 香港中文大学要求学生选修计算机学分的语文能力课程及学院规定修读的语文课程,参加课程的考试并取得及格成绩,才可获得学分。考试不及格的学生必须重修该课程。 而城市大学要求学生必须在修读的所有单元(包括语文单元)取得及格成绩,方可升级或毕业。 浸会大学对修读必修的学分制语文课程的学生,学校将通过阅读课业、
