《红楼梦》作为中国古代文学创作高峰的作品,其中渗透着多种文化现象。本文通过对比杨宪益和霍克斯两个译文版本中章节题目的翻译揭示中英文化的差异,以期为读者更好理解两个不同翻译版本提供帮助。
A Dream of Red Mansions, as the creations of the peak of Chinese ancient literary creation, is permeated with various cultural phenomena. This article reveals the differences between Chinese and English cultures by comparing the translations of the chapters in two translated versions of Yang Xianyi and Hawkes with a view to providing readers with a better understanding of two different translated versions.
