本文对1997 年2 月27 日巴基斯坦地震 ( Ms = 73) 进行了分析研究, 该地震发生在巴鲁奇斯坦( Baluchistan) 省的剪切带内。1997 年2 月27 日至3 月22 日记录的余震分布图,提出了破裂长度及破裂取向的第一手资料。破裂区范围为22km ×110km , 在剪切带西部呈北西走向, 与区域构造趋势一致。采用 Kikuchi 和 Kanamori (1991) 公式计算震源机制解,表明北西—南东向冲断层为主, 倾角46°。所得的地震矩 Mo 为218 ×1027 达因, 应力降为46 巴。根据野外考察资料绘制了烈度分布图, 与获得的断层面解相符。
This paper analyzes the Pakistan Earthquake (Ms = 73) on February 27, 1997, which occurred in the shear zone of the province of Baluchistan. The aftershock distribution recorded from February 27 to March 22, 1997, provides first-hand information on the rupture length and rupture orientation. The rupture zone ranges from 22 km × 110 km to NW-trending in the west of the shear zone, consistent with the regional tectonic trend. Focal mechanism solutions are calculated using the formulas of Kikuchi and Kanamori (1991), indicating that the NW-NE strike is mainly dip angle 46 °. The resulting Moment of Mo is 2 18 × 1027 dyne, the stress drop is 46 bar. According to the field investigation data, the intensity distribution map is drawn, which is consistent with the obtained fault plane.
