Hare Jaffa based on the arguments of Lincoln and Douglas and Calhoun, as well as the major historical events of the time, took the history of political philosophy as the latitude and finally returned to the classical political philosophy and started a rather academic ambition around the founding of the United States Review. Jaffa rejects the popular view based on modernity and “vulgarity and stability” that Jaffa believes that the founding of the United States is founded on the theory of natural law and natural justification; that the U.S. civil war is a war on the life and death of the United States of America Political decisions and the existence of slavery are moral choices; Lincoln’s choice is to counterattack historicism, relativism and nihilism. This article focuses on two monographs, trying to discover the Strauss interpretations of Jaffa’s legislation on the United States and Lincoln and to explore Strauss’s profound influence on Jaffa. At the same time, I euphemistically criticized Jaffa’s attitude toward the U.S. statehood Some Facebook-style interpretations and rhetoric to Lincoln.
