在市场经济形势下,图书馆如何科学使用有限经费,选择确定核心期刊,优化收藏结构,提高利用率,是图书馆的核心问题之一。笔者从实际出发,采用数学和经济学的量化手段,摸索拟定出核心期刊的优选原则。一、金字塔与阶梯式原则图书馆的发展规律与马克思主义经济基础决定上层建筑的原则是相吻合的。图书馆核心期刊的确定应该遵照经济优先的原则,按各省市工农业产值的比例来定量。
