提建议时,要尽量避免用命令的口气。客气的程度取决于谈话双方的关系,关系越远,使用的语言越委婉,要避免使用“You must/should”等。通常比较合适的表达方式有“Why not.../What about.../You’d better.../If I were you I’d...” 等。
When giving advice, try to avoid the tone of the command. The degree of politeness depends on the relationship between the parties to the conversation. The farther apart the relationship is, the more euphemism the language is used. Avoid using “You must/should” and so on. Usually the more appropriate expression is “Why not.../What about.../You’d better.../If I were you I’d...” etc.
