The seaweed production base in the Davao province of the Philippines has expanded to 400 hectares by September this year. George Campeon, a spokesperson for the Philippine Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Agency (BFAR), has attributed the rapid growth of seaweed products to their reproductive distribution.
