阅读理解听起来似乎是语文、外语教学中的内容,而与数学沾不上边,如果真的这样认识,必将对数学教育产生误解,造成教学方法的偏向性。我们知道,数学教学的起码要求是理解、掌握教材的基本知识和概念,这就有一个阅读教材理解概念的过程,再则数学教学除向学生传授知识外,更重要的是对学生数学能力的培养,包括理解、分析、推理、综合、应用等方面,但这些能力的培养又必须以“解题”及“问题解决”为载体,而良好的阅读习惯和较强的理解能力是“问题解决”的第一步。因此,必须充分重视阅读理解在数学教学中的地位和作用,并加强数学的阅读理解教学。
