晶体延迟线的应用几年来,各船厂研制的数控绘图机、切割机,以及螺旋桨加工机中,广泛应用了以镍线构成的动态寄存器。其优点是可以减小设备、降低成本。特别是多坐标,如五坐标联动的螺旋桨加工控制机,其寄存器数量多(20个以上),容量大(每个24位),采用镍线构成的动态寄存器,减小体积则尤为显著。但是,镍线寄存器明显的缺点是,结构较为复杂,一致性很差,需随季节变化进行调整,维修比较麻烦,稳定性也不够理想。
