Senior Fellow, Schmidt Institute of Geophysics, Soviet Academy of Sciences, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, National Laureate Professor Ye. Gary Perrin died on October 20, 1990 due to a serious illness. Gary Palin was born in 1920 in Uman, Kiev. In 1941, when he was a fourth grader of the Moscow State University of the Nationalities, he volunteered to fight on the front line and fight until the Great Patriotic War was over - he ushered in a war victory in Vienna. He was awarded “Red Star”, “Patriotic War” medal and several medals. After the war he completed university studies. Galliparin started himself in 1946 at the Institute of Geophysics of the Soviet Academy of Sciences (then the Institute of Theoretical Geophysics)
