辽宁水利职业学院位于辽宁省省会城市——沈阳,是经省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的省属公办普通高等学校,是目前辽宁省内乃至东北地区仅有的一所水利类高职院校。学院办学历史起点为1951年成立的东北水利专科学校,2000年10月并入沈阳农业大学,成立沈阳农业大学高等职业技术学院;2012年12月,经辽宁省人民政府批准成立辽宁水利职业学院,独立开办高等职业教育。学院现占地面积8.5万平方米,建筑面积7万平方米,另有13.88万平方米的新校园建设项目正在规划之中。
Liaoning Water Conservancy Vocational College is located in the capital city of Liaoning Province - Shenyang, is approved by the provincial government, the provincial Ministry of Education for the provincial public colleges and universities, is currently in Liaoning Province and even the northeastern region only a water conservancy Vocational College school. The school started its history as a Northeast Water Conservancy Technical College founded in 1951 and was incorporated into Shenyang Agricultural University in October 2000 to establish Shenyang Agricultural University Higher Vocational and Technical College. In December 2012, Liaoning Provincial People’s Government approved the establishment of Liaoning Water Conservancy Vocational College, Independently run higher vocational education. College now covers an area of 85,000 square meters, construction area of 70,000 square meters, while an additional 138,800 square meters of new campus construction projects are being planned.
