去年第十二期《北京支部生活》的“入党向导”栏目,刊登了周越的文章《漫画大师入党记》,介绍漫画家华君武走上革命道路,成为共产党员的人生历程。我连读几遍,深受教益。一是被他勤于观察所感动。当年,他生活在旧上海的租界,租界里有很多奇怪的法律:“你买了一只鸡,如果你提着鸡爪走,就要被抓,罪名是你不讲人道主义,虐待动物。但是,对待中国人,他们就没那么有爱心了:人力车夫,小商小贩要是被租界的警察抓住了,就会挨棍子打。”他从这些现象中看透了那个黑暗的社会,决心奔向光明。那个“华人与狗”并论,甚至“人不如鸡”的黑暗社会,被革命的前辈们推翻了。现在,为了不再有挨打的耻辱,我们怎么办?当然应该在党的领导下发展我们自己。我们要实事求是地观察当今中国、当今北京的变化,坚持党的基本路线不动摇,把全部心思都用在实践“三个代
