中华全国妇女联合会和埃及国家妇女委员会于2009年10月13～14日在埃及开罗举办了“中非合作论坛——妇女论坛2009”。这是中非合作论坛启动9年来第一次举办的妇女论坛,是中非妇女友好交往史上前所未有的盛事。论坛的主题为“中非妇女携手应对挑战、共谋发展”。
The All-China Women’s Federation and the Egyptian National Council of Women held the “China-Africa Cooperation Forum - Women’s Forum 2009” held in Cairo, Egypt from October 13 to October 14, This is the first women’s forum to be held in the past nine years since the launch of the FOCAC and is an unprecedented event in the history of friendly exchanges between China and Africa. The theme of the forum is “Women in Central Africa Join Hands in Meeting Challenges and Seeking Common Development”.
