一九五五年一至六月份,全省共接收复员建设军人二万六千六百五十二人。截至七月中旬止,已安置的有二万四千六百八十五人,占总人数的百分之九十三点七。在回乡的复员建设军人中,党、团员占百分之六十五左右,志愿入伍者占百分之五十五左右。大部分人年纪较轻,体质较强,且多数家居农村,有产有业。据统计,今年回乡的复员建设军人中,有二万五千零二十三人家居农村(包括小城镇),占总人数的百分之九十四。又据左云、襄垣、岢岚、祁县等十二个县的统计,今年回乡的复员建设军人共计三千四百九个一人,其中有房有地、有家可归,不需以生活和生产资料进行安置的有二千七百七十三人,占百分之七十九点五;无房无地或缺房少
