I. INTRODUCTION Most of the infrared detectors are working under low temperature and vacuum environment and need a refrigerator. Infrared detector structure Dewar (hereinafter referred to Dewar) is a refrigerator, which is both part of the detector, but also refrigerant storage device. The type and amount of residual gas in the Dewar directly affect the performance of the detector and the refrigerant storage time.
