上海黄金交易所于2002年10月30日正式开业,标志着中国黄金管理体制改革取得重要成果并向规范的市场化道路迈出新步伐。开业以来,市场规模不断扩大,价格发现功能日趋完善,投资品种逐渐增加。下一步,要进一步发展黄金市场,建立高效安全的黄金交易系统,开发具有投资避险功能的黄金市场新品种,逐步实现黄金市场由现货市场向金融产品市场的过渡。
The Shanghai Gold Exchange was officially opened on October 30, 2002, marking a milestone in the reform of the gold management system in China and taking a new step toward a standardized marketization path. Since its opening, the market has been expanding, the function of price discovery has been perfected and the investment varieties have been gradually increased. The next step is to further develop the gold market, establish an efficient and safe gold trading system, develop new varieties of gold market with investment hedging function and gradually realize the transition from the spot market to the financial products market in the gold market.
