欧阳山,原名扬凤岐,湖北荆州人。一九○八年生于城市贫民家庭。一九二四年开始写作。曾主编《广州文学周刊》,并在北伐军中做政治工作。一九二八年到上海以写作为职业。一九三二年在广州组织“普罗”作家同盟,主编《广州文艺》,遭到国民党反动派的通缉,被迫到上海,后加入了“左联”。抗战时期,积极参加抗日文化运动。一九四一年到延安,在毛主席文艺为工农兵服务的方针指导下,写了著名的长篇小说《高干大》,
Ouyang Shan, formerly known as Feng Qi, Jingzhou, Hubei Province. Born in urban poor families in 1908. 1924 began writing.
