高校图书馆是高等院校的图书情报中心,具有教育和情报两大职能,肩负着培养人才,提供教学和科研情报资料的重任。提高情报职能的地位,发挥情报作用是一个很重要的问题。情报职能是通过对书刊文献资料的搜集、加工、整理、贮存、指导和服务、及时地、有针对性地完成知识信息的筛选、交流和传递活动体现和发挥出来。强化图书馆情报职能首先应从图书馆的实际出发,搞好基础工作,没有文献资料作物质基础,情报服务是无源之水;
University library is a library and information center of colleges and universities, with two major functions of education and intelligence, shouldering the task of training talents and providing teaching and research intelligence information. To improve the status of the intelligence function and to play the role of intelligence is a very important issue. Intelligence function is through the collection, processing, collation, storage, guidance and service of the literature of books and periodicals, in a timely and targeted manner to complete the screening of knowledge and information, communication and delivery activities reflect and play out. To strengthen library intelligence functions, we should start from the reality of the library, do a good job in basic work, without material for material basis and intelligence service as a passive water.
