猕猴桃为木质藤本植物,其嫩梢具有蔓性,常按逆时针方向旋转,缠绕支撑物,向上生长。猕猴桃的生长习性喜阴凉湿润,萌芽期怕晚霜和大风,生长期怕旱、怕涝,成熟期怕霜冻和降雪。在年平均气温10度以上的地区都能生长,极端最高气温不超过42℃,极端最低气温不超过-15℃。晚霜期绝对气温不低于-1℃。山东省文登市自1983年开始进行猕猴桃的引种,经过30多年的实验、研究和推广,种植规模逐年扩大,同时,栽培技术也逐步完
